One of the oldest and international most important HiFi shows is the London show. Last but not least because of all the visitors from around the world.

Although we were not present as an official exhibitor, Paul Whatton and his friends from the LS3/5a user group presented some LS3/5a speakers one of them the original BBC version with the serial number 001/002.

More than 500 visitors tried to get a view to one of the many LS3/5a speakers in the little hotel room. Most times this was unlikely to achive because the room was overcrowed all times; the room could have been three time as big.

It was even more difficult to listen to the different brands in comparison.

Paul Whatton was excited about the bis interest of the audience for this little long time legendary speaker. In some personal conversations with Paul many visitors made the statement that the sonic performance in the »LS3/5a room« was one of the best at all on the show. And some asked the question what was the techncial improvement during the last 20years, there was not chance to hear it on the show?

Of course the cicable crossover had to be part of the LS3/5a presentation. A good chance to discuss a lot of questions about this super crossover with Derek Hughed and Helmut Puellmanns. The interest was great, because everybody likes to hear his LS3/5a at its best.
